J & D Productions, LLC. was formed May 1998, after working for another model building company for two years. J & D Productions does all of its own research, building of masters, mold making, casting and the construction of the models.

Donald R. Preul has been building models for personal enjoyment since his childhood, he has 30 plus years of experience and continues to improve and add to his ability of perfecting techniques to ensure the proper fine detail on all models. For many years prior to forming this business, Don was in the auto and truck painting business so he is very well educated in the techniques for painting and the use of many types and combination of paints.

Also added to Don’s list is his ability to speak to groups, sharing his techniques for resin and metal casting and the art of airbrushing camouflage designs. Some of the groups that he has spoken to are:
